I started listening on my computer when I started downloading mp3s, which were my escape from a limited world of radio and videos, and only got an iPod several years later. I don't have a good hifi where I'm living at the moment, so I'm not sure exactly how much I'm losing in quality. But now I'm at the point where an actual CD seems so limiting -- only 10-20 songs, often by the same artist -- seems so limiting. I have to imagine that even with a good setup, I'll just end up plugging everything into my latop and playing from there.
