Theyve got humans using humans for bombs
Oct. 4th, 2005 10:52 amHere is ROUND 2 of the great Poptimist quiz - again this is designed for my work so some of the qns are a bit easy (actually this really comes into play on the bits and pieces round which is full of Poptimism touchstones).
Remember, no googling. Comments screened, answers probably up this afternoon sometime.

no subject
Date: 2005-10-04 10:16 am (UTC)2. Um I'm not sure what they actually say! It sounds like "In the Chinese Eye Of Doom" but that can't be right. Thank god it's them instead of me! The embarrassing thing is that I actually sang this song for Kooba Radio's Xmas single last year, but not that bit. I did "Where nothing ever grows, no rain nor river flows".
3. Hillsborough?
4. C, at a guess.
5. Urgh isn't it Michael Jackson?
6. Pass. Bloc Party?
7. Peter Kay cos he didn't actually sing on it!
8. Blimey. I have no idea. It probably wasn't Bowie as he was doing lots of coke then, and it probably wasn't Bolan as he wasn't super-famous then. John Lennon's not really a rawk star is he? So I shall say: Mick Jagger.
9. OK I KNO this one cos it was on Now 30. Chrissie Hynde, Neneh Cherry and um Cher? And Eric Clapton did twiddly guitar.
10. Dunno. I could look up on the werk database but that would be cheating. Well I am going to get this wrong anyway so I might as well look... OH DEAR LORD has the world really been subjected to them for that long?
