Well predictably Rihanna was beaten off in the end by crazy old Gnarls Barkley and his three more ticks. 'Crazy' got more ticks (27) than any other Top 40 single this year and 87.1% vote share, making it the most popular chart hit of the year among Poptimist members. Who says we're not in touch with Joe Still-Buys-CDs / £50 Mang?

I mean, is it some kinda of post-modern irony that "OMG BUSTA ONLY DOES GUEST VERSES", so they get 497 people to do guest verse, including noted mic-shredders Mary J Blige and her what did Girlfight who's name I've forgotten.

Guest verses rule. At some point I want there to be a song with EVERYONE (good) in hip-hop and r&b doing a guest verse.

Best we have so far is that 10-minute 'In Da Club' megamix of Beyoncé, Mary J and the original.
