March - a bumper month for Top 40 hits with quite a few great ones but even more appalling ones. Go do.

Memory jogging!

Black Eyed Peas' Pump It has def grown on me. I think it's a decent attempt at using the sampled-to-death Dick Dale riff. I may be biased though.

Ne-Yo was number 1! Do you people not LISTEN to music any more?

Ne*Yo is amazing!

Basically if at any point you have been a bus where girls were playing a song through their mobile phones this year, the song would've been 'So Sick'.

It's quite good. I ticked it.

I always have my headphones on, on the bus.

I do too, but I take them out whenever there are girls singing along to mobile phones within earshot because they are so amazing.

I saw some on the tube the other day. I listened to them, thinking, blimey this must be what the Lex's life is like. Then I got a bit bored and went back to my book. They're only girls.

They were good singers though! I didn't recognise the song, I think they might have been gospel singers rather than into profane young person's r'n'b music.

Except in Denver it would have been "So Sick" by Flyleaf, not "So Sick" by Ne-Yo.

The last song I heard girls playing on their phones appeared to be a new version of 'Don't cry for me Argentina'. Puzzling. 'So sick' is excellent though!

"Do you people not LISTEN to music any more?"

sadly, over the last few months, yes this is true. i looked at the recent list of number 1s about 2 weeks ago, and was "wuh? who? orson? wha?" etc :-(
