Black Eyed Peas' Pump It has def grown on me. I think it's a decent attempt at using the sampled-to-death Dick Dale riff. I may be biased though.

I do too, but I take them out whenever there are girls singing along to mobile phones within earshot because they are so amazing.

you're very lucky to have encountered girls on the bus who can actually sing well. i have had no such luck - but then i've also been fortunate enough to not encounter girls singing on bus much at all in recent times (i leave for work long after they've already arrived at school :D

I saw some on the tube the other day. I listened to them, thinking, blimey this must be what the Lex's life is like. Then I got a bit bored and went back to my book. They're only girls.

although i use all the same buses as the lex all the time the ONLY TIME this has ever happened to me = four-year-old boy v.quietly and shyly singing CRAZY FROG to himself

it was however the MOST ADORABLE EVENT IN THE COMPLETE AND UTTER HISTORY OF CUTE

sadly, over the last few months, yes this is true. i looked at the recent list of number 1s about 2 weeks ago, and was "wuh? who? orson? wha?" etc :-(
