I remember getting v.excited about Timbaland going rave and banging on to all and sundry about some sort of uber-two-step-rave-r'n'b collision as being the next logical step for UK dance music. That what we actually got was Grime seems incredibly disappointing in retrospect.

If r&g had preceded grime life would have been so much easier (and prob a lot more of it would be in the charts)
