Iran squeezed into the Pop World Cup semi-finals after an unforgettable match in which they twice pulled back a Trinidadian lead. Level at half time, the match exploded into action as Trinidad hit Iran on the break in the first minute of the second half. jel_bugle was controversially sent to the stands after he rushed onto the pitch in protest at Iranian 'time-wasting'. From there he saw his side take the lead a second time, but Trinidad were visibly tiring, and Iran found a second wind to score two well-worked goals in quick succession and end Tobagan dreams. dubdobdee will now fancy his chances against either Togo or the Czech Republic in the semis: Trinidad fans can reflect on a lively campaign and on a role in one of the great PWC games.
