Portugal are through to play France or Japan in the Pop World Cup Semi-Finals as another English pop campaign ends in recriminations and shattered dreams. With fresh talent on the bench, boss zenith chose to play an experienced forward line who were simply unable to cope with Portugal's slick passing game. Two nil up at the break, the Portugese chose to defend in the second half and the game threatened to fizzle out, until an England goal in the 85th minute set up a desperate finish. But it was too little, too late, and thebopkids is the hero of Lisbon tonight having seen off England in competitive play once again.

I decided in the end that even though England's song wasn't great, nor was Portugal's, so England may have been mildly ROBBED here.
