Makes you wish they'd bring the Chart Show back I know. Youtube is fab and I was wondering yesterday if there shouldn't just be an audio-only version so anyone can upload any audio recording for streaming (copyrighters keep turning a blind eye please).

Haaa that Lee Ryan song completely passed me by and now I am imagining him covering Whigfield's 'Think Of You' ("I need you inside me tonight") :oo

As I found out this morning, the MCPS-PRS rules for online stuff = getting pretty strict. I think youtube is blind-eyed cos the 1) quality isn't high enough 2) ppl unlikely to record a video stream. They are more lenient on streams that have a bit of talking over the top at the beginning/end to avoid subsequent transferral. I would happily have a "brought to you by youtube" over the top if I got to hear lots of lovely music for free at a quality bitrate AND have a video to watch...

As it is I've only heard two of the above. One of those is a billion years old (DoA) and the other I've only heard the censored version played on hits!tv (Brand New).

Ha, thanks for these links, steve. I'd never thought to actually search youtube in order to find songs to listen to. The sound quality is not bad at all in many instances.

I have now just heard "Heartbeats" for first time ever thanks to youtube (and will look for some of the other January singles too when I get a minute). It's not too late to go back and add to my votes for the Jan poll is it?
