so having popped into tesco for food shopping we were faced with an really rather large cd sale, which i seem to recall someone else (jeff?) mentioning in a comment somewhere. anyway, lots of albums for £4.63 and other rather random prices, but my two picks were:

Girls Aloud - Girls Aloud

and

I ♥ DISCO (notice the BUSSTOP into N-TRANCE bit in the middle)

for NINETY SEVEN ENGLISH PENCE each, marvellous, there.

For this CD I'd consider getting a dance floor installed in my house.

That one wasn't available in the Seven Sisters one - I imagine I mentioned buying several other things there a couple of weeks ago: Dr Dre, Cockney Rebel, Neil Young, Twista, Ian Dury.

There was never a GA album called Girls Aloud - you've been conned!

Is it the black cover or white cover version? The white one has the almighty You Freak Me Out and Jump (although I seem to be the only one to love those 2 songs) but the version of Some Kind Of Miracle is not as good and it's missing some of tracks from the original black covered version.

It wasn't me! [/shaggy]

But I think I did provide a link to a CD being sold by Tesco.com recently, so obviously I approve of this particular "music emporium".

Sainsbury's seem to have lost heart a bit when it comes to CDs and DVDs. Amount of shelf space available for them = dwindling by the week (in my local store anyway).

Any recommendations for which (Central) London Tescos are good for these sale things?
