Best song of 2005: NOMINATIONS

# 10 song per person limit on stuff that didn't chart in the UK top 40 in 2005 (except for koganbot, credoimprobus, friend_of_tofu and jeff_worrell who get 11).

# Nominate as many charting hits as you like.

# Nominating fewer than 10 non-charting songs is perfectly fine.

# Do check everyhit for chart placings: if your song might be spelled weirdly and doesn't show up in the results, try searching by artist instead of title (or vice versa) or using 'contains the word' instead of 'first few letters'.

# Posting nominations in a new comment thread rather than as a reply to another comment is strongly recommended, as I am lazy and therefore unlikely to go digging around in nested comments etc.

# Don't worry about repeating someone else's nomination - as far as humanly possible I'll let you know if one of your ten picks is already nominated so you can choose another one.

Kat, I still need your ruling as to:

(1) Whether the Veronicas' "4ever" counts as 2005 (you gave me Robyn but didn't say anything about the Veronicas); and

(2) Assuming that "4ever" does count as 2005, whether it and "Be Mine!" nonetheless also count as charting singles (because they eventually charted). If so, I get to nominate another two non-charters.
