What was the first pop song* to sound fake-Timbaland? Was it THIS?

*erm by which I mean, if you asked people what it was, they'd probably say "pop" not "R&B" or "hip-hop"

No Scrubs by TLC. Wait no hang on, was that Timbaland? Probably not. Anyway, that was a pop song.

It is nice that someone has posted this because it was a watershed moment for me on the road to becoming a pop lover. I'm not exactly sure why but the intrusion of hip-hop/r&b production might well have been it.
