Very silly video too! Having been around synth-pop nerds for SOOOOOO long and been very inundated (not that I'm complaining), I must admit that this was never one of my favourites, but it's quite sweet nevertheless.

Splendid.

The joke in that episode of Futurama only really makes sense if you listen to the 12 inch version instead, otherwise what they're singing doesn't actually seem to be this song at all. Sadly I can't find the 12 inch version anywhere, but here's a different really long version (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=5VlU5Kcf1XI) instead, which also has the same silly "S-A-F-E-T-Y-Safety-DANCE!" intro for added larks.
