Keeps Gettin' Better (Youtube link but no proper video yet)

I think it's just got the edge on Britney's 'Womanizer' - though the two are really rather similar (and were both unleashed on iTunes this week, apparently).

They're both a bit of a FAIL I think - not awful like 'The Promise', but just lazy and mediocre...reheated 4-yr-old schaffel. 'Womanizer' took more time to reveal its essential tedium so I guess it wins. Between Britney, Xtina, GA and Sugababes, this quarter isn't a very good one for pop heroines. Let's hope Beyonce brings the goods.

(Still, it's not all bad - I have been inspired to dig out (haha "dig out" by typing AGUILERA into itunes) Stripped, what a fucking awesome album that is! A pop star at the height of her powers, and I'll still argue that its five-single (five-video) run is one of the pinnacles of 00s pop.)
