Characteristically, the song seems impossibly slight then over several listens becomes irresistible and not slight.

EDIT: Oh yes, for those of you who've been asking, "What Ne-Yo song is just so waiting to be sung by Marit Larsen?" the answer is "Stop This World." First it starts with plinky piano, then it modulates up on "I floated away, away" (which is characteristically Marit in its rise and dip but I don't have the music theory skills to explain how). Also contains the line "something must go wrong because it's way too right" (though Marit would just imply this rather than say it directly).

I like these songs, she seems like a wholesome young lady. I would totally marry her, and she'd bake me cakes for when I get home from a not very busy day at the library.

Dunno, where the idea that she composes pop songs with no rules comes from...sounds like pleasent country tinged pop to me. Maybe I'm, getting cynical in my old age.

I'll get her album when it comes out.

She's streaming one song a day (in order) on her MySpace at the moment, and while I like this one, the others so far have been even better, so am very excited about the album.
