Last.fm Redesign?

So, really, what is up with that redesign?

The Dashboard has gone! Nooo! Hours of fun stalking my friends listening disappeared! And the player has stopped working.

But most of all, it seems to highlight all the bits of last.fm people haven't taken up much, like the "playlist" option, which I swear I have never used, is now the largest thing on my userpage, the "shoutbox" is like a comments page - and it becomes really obvious that no-one really comments via last.fm shoutbox and... worst of all.. WEEKLY CHARTS have disappeared as well! They must be somewhere, but they used to be RIGHT THERE! Where we wanted to see them? Rocket, meet science?!

This is, fairly uncool. Gah. More tweaking please...

And srsly, wtf how can they get rid of the dashboard?

I feel sort of bad for telling my brother to sign up for it to get internet radio stations about 15 mins ago, now. :/

Haww, I just had a minor computer fail yesterday and had to get rid of all my personal data and so on, so when I logged back into last.fm and it had changed I nearly had a fit thinking -- did this happen AGES ago, but no...

The dashboard made sense! A page for you, and a page for your friends!

Gosh yes, I've just got home and discovered this. There is still a dashboard! Also, you can click on Friends and then "See who's listening now" for your stalking needs. Not that impressed though, and if my weekly chart doesn't show up on Monday, there will be strong words flying to Last FM HQ...

The dashboard is called Home now. And I got some kind of weekly chart from tweaking the settings on the library bit. But I want the long extensive list of how many times I've listened to various tracks - I don't even care that they don't log hald of them properly any more! I don't want a huge shoutbox! I am not on Last FM for networking!

Totally. It's not supposed to be a social networking site. They've made it look like bloody Facebook as well. And you can't change the colour anymore (I HATE red!)

One thing I do like, though, is that "loved tracks" now show up on your page. I was wondering when they were going to do that. I've tried to get rid of the "playlist" thing, I've never used that, but alas it looks like it has to stay.

Argh, the one thing I appreciated most on the dashboard is naturally the one thing that hasn't just been moved somewhere else -- the full tracks player. I loved that thing! It was so convenient and brilliant! (And I hadn't had time to listen to/bookmark everything of interest in the latest playlist update either, woe.)

My main gripe is that my artist totals seem to have all changed - Erykah Badu was No 2, now she's No 4; Tori Amos has been bumped up from No 8 to No 2...all my top artists seem to have had their numbers boosted by random amounts. I'm not keen on the new layout but will probably get used to it (though I liked the dashboard and the weekly totals being so prominent!), but I'm just confused at the basic stats being altered.
