Little bit more music history for Leona Lewis this week over the pond.

Having first hit the top spot in the Billboard Hot 100 on April 5th, 'Bleeding Love' stayed on top only one week before being ousted by Mariah's 'Touch My Body'. On April 26th, Leona moved back up to the top of the charts, only to be replaced (a week later, again) by Lil Wayne's 'Lollipop'. When the new charts are announced tomorrow, it seems 99% certain that Leona will be back on top of the charts again.

No single has ascended to the top three different times since 1979 and 'Le Freak' by Chic.

Well done Leona.

Americans have not had a single bad No 1 this year yet! And they only had, like, two bad No 1s last year! Sigh.

Mariah needs another three to match the Beatles, right?

Leona has been on American Idol AND Oprah, so I'm not surprised she's doing so well. I think major television exposure is the one of the only things that can really give artists a boost in terms of sales now.
