I can't believe it's only February and both my album of the year (Erykah Badu) and single of the year ('No Air' or 'Gonna Be Mine') could plausibly be sewn up already.

I mean, compared to last year, when an album I'd voted for in the 2006 ballot led all year right until the final stretch which gave us Britney! 2008 > 2007 by a million miles already.

So far I've failed to hate the Wombats, though honestly given their style I think they'd be better off covering "I Can Only Give You Everything," which it sounded like they were about to do at the start.
