Here we are, results for the second group in round 2:

First Place - Lyme & Cybelle - "Follow Me" (10 first-place votes, 38% of total points) - umlauts WINS.

Second Place - Wilson Simonal - "Nem Vem Que Nao Tem" (4 first-place votes, 30% of total points) - infov0re QUALIFIES.

Third Place - Terry Callier - "Johnny Be Gay If You Can Be" (3 first-place votes, 18% of total points) - skillextric is OUT.

Fourth Place - Gloria Jones - "Tainted Love" (4 first place votes, 15% of total points) - xyzzzz_ is OUT.

Well done all four submitters - another excellent group all told.

Round 3, I can reveal because I've just decided on it, will drop the group format for 6 individual "bouts", done 2 at a time. Details of themes etc to follow.

Blimey. That was a surprise, given I had about ten minutes to pick a track and it came from the first place I could find.

I want to point out that at about halfway through the voting, when I did the reveal, "Tainted Love" was in 2nd place, so Julio's staggering gamble came a lot closer than I expected to paying off!

haha I was sure Julio's entry was the Wilson Simonal one, given he'd entered a track from the City of God soundtrack in the LOP! Pwnd again.
