The History Of Pop Part 4 aka Bustin' Makes Me Feel Good!
So on Now 3 Cyndi Lauper came through a very strong line-up to win it. NOW 4, firmly in mid-late '84, has more songs than before (meaning an even HUGER poll), but to my eyes fewer clear contenders, but there are several intriguing love-it-or-hate-it options too and as every yr forthright views are welcome in the comments box, as are requests for YSIs, real actual YSIs and so on.
This one had the pig on the cover, hurrah.

The 3 are:
Bronski Beat (best song on here easy. As I've said elsewhere, the extended 12" mix is k-classic)
Culture Club (War Song = Karlheinz-degree of bonkers = their best song ever! War war is stupid and people are stupid if they disagree)
Queen (on Greatest Hits II, which I rarely play and probably skip this track when I do)
I have dabbled with buying the U2 on 12" several times. Never quite got around to it tho.
And as t'Pooh Sticks would say, I've got "Ghostbusters" and "Tes Tes Te-Te-Te-Te Tes" ON TAPE.

I also surprise myself by how much I dislike 'Electwic Dweams'.
In both cases, it is a matter of the guitar solo.
Also: Rockwell is clearly the greatest thing on this particular NOW. Someone should YSI it.
Your wish, etc
