Of course the canonical version of "They Don't Know" is Kirsty MacColl's very own version.

AHHH the 80s, no qualms about having 2xtracks by the same artist as long as they were on two different discs...

Go H17! Go Bonnie! Winnars!

I really remember very little of this. I think 'Karma Chameleon' is the first pop video I ever saw. What year was it?

I wz about to tick Fill Collings as well but then realised it is a Sub-Standard Covah, much like Red Red Wing (like the bird). But what is going on viz Malcum Mclaren? HELLO?

Everytime I have refreshed the poll Fascination and Temptation have been absolutely level, proving that they are THE SAME SONG!

I don't do LJ polls but I will say that a LOT of these have some merit without quite being in the "I love this" category. And most of the rest fall just below the "has some merit" line without being atrocious. That sums up 1983-85 pretty well in general if you ask me.

I own (other than on V/A comps): Malcolm McLaren, Will Powers, both Culture Clubs, poss. T. Ullmang. Pretend I ticked all those.

B. Tyler is probably better than I remember it being.
Rocksteady Crew is probably WORSE than I remember it being.

In other news, the tracklist for NOW! 62 (http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000BGUD0U/202-0034155-7866278) is awesome, especially pleasing after the disappointing 60 and 61.

only on gothgothgoth LJ would bleddy lovetwats, i mean lovecats, lead a poll of NOW choons. bonnie is clearly the real actual best song on here, with ver league a close second.

will there be two winners? The one thought at-least-quite-good by the most, and the one judged best by the most? If that is two different songs, that is.
