I am cross with E17 bcs the Walthamstow Stadium was a place of CHILDHOOD WONDERMENT and they ruined it with their stupid lame crappy pop. I HATED ALL POP AT THE TIME. I still kind of hate E17, even though I did the ticks :(

On Monday I saw the video to 'Steam' on Hits!Tv, and BY GOLLY no wonder I was shocked and intimidated as a young'un! They THRUST their groins out on each beat of the intro!

Actually East 17 are the perfect canon band, as all the titles of their singles feature prominently in the chorus and are BLIMMIN CATCHY. "Alright! Alright! Everything's gonna be alright!"

'Deep' was my first ever CD single :)

'If You Ever' - the original (by a US r&b boy band called...Shai? Or something) was better but it's a gorgeous song and they didn't fuck it up.

One of my friends at college had a HUGE crush on Tony Mortimer (this must've been around 1993/94 and she was about 21 so this is kind of embarrassing for her). I have to say I didn't see it myself but then I suppose he is the lesser of 4 evils in the E17 hunk stakes.
