Jop Tournament Qualifiers 6

The sixth batch features two PE tracks, brings us bang up to date with Cansei, pits Xtina against the legions of indie, and gives Grandmaster Flash a second crack after "The Message"'s collapse. The winners will join Annie, Cameo, Kate Bush and "Bootylicious" in the first round.

[Poll #913102]

Tomorrow - French house! Scottish indie! Tamil, erm, whatever "Galang" is!

'U: U-U-U-Utah Saints! I love or like the others too but "Something Good" is one of the best rave records ever.'

and it would actually segue v well with 'Let's Make Love...' i've just realised.

Are you going to run out of group letters?

USE THE GREEK ALPHABET.

U: I love that Cansei song, but I have to agree that Utah Saints = TICK.
V: Close call between Dury and Temptation, but I went for the latter as it makes me smile. 2nd best New Order song!
W: I like all of these, but White Lines wins by a small nose (sniff)
X: Annie. No contest.

U - Voted for Cansei De Ser Sexy, but this is probably the weakest group yet.

V - Easy tick, that New Order song is amazing and none of the other ones are really close

W - Another very weak group. I'm sick of that Kylie song too, and I definitely prefer "Love at First Sight", but I couldn't bring myself to tick anything else ahead of it.

X - V. easy tick. I've never been able to adequately explain it, but "Genie in a Bottle" is probably my favorite song of all time.

Group X is a stellar group though, 4 great songs.

Bring The Noise v Temptation was pretty painful for me.

I am also hugely bored of that Kylie song and I don't think I'll ever tire of The Power.

The other two I didn't even have to think about.

U: u put U-U-U-U-U-tah Saints in here deliberately didn't you Tom. (No contest.)

V: Not one of my favourite New Order tracks, Public Enemy pretty easily. House Of Pain has long worn thin, I'm surprised it's here at all (AND CIARA WASN'T OH HOW MY HEART ACHES)

W: Kylie good but overrated. Snap better.

X: u put X-X-X-X-X-tina in here deliberately didn't you Tom. (No contest.) (Seriously there is no excuse for ticking Beck or Nirvana here.)

He was a rapper from the late 70s. Who held a cane with a knob on the end.
