Given that no-one really knew what was going on in 1957, Jerry Lee Lewis did pretty well to snab 22 ticks! Something a little more recent this week, and BlimeX0r! Noel's House Party seemed like quality television, there was a sudden new trend for sparkly eyepatches, and the 'Tlimited straddling the number one slot (hur hur hur) for FIVE WEEKS! It must be 1993!

[Poll #862080]
*This had on it:
Somebody To Love (G.Michael/Queen)
These Are The Days Of Our Lives (G.Michael/Queen/Lisa Stansfield)
Calling You (G.Michael)
Papa Was A Rolling Stone/Killer (G.Michael)

It's a bit early in the morning for tickyboxen but s0d it.

I only had 4 ticks!

I'm SURE he doesn't. My brain is actually DEAD due to getting in this morning exactly as people were getting up to go to work but I'm SURE he never did.

Unfortunately it also means that when Wasis release a new album, ALL TWELVE Wasis tracks will be in the chart.

I assume though that there will be some kind of 'nominated singles' rule in force, or something.

People, elementary listening skills, people:

Verse 1:
But i'll never forget the way you feel right now, oh no, no way
And i would do anything for love, but i won't do that, i won't do that

Verse 2:
But i'll never forgive myself if we don't go all the way tonight
(etc)

Verse 3:
But i'll never do it better than i do it with you, so long, so long
(etc)

Granted these aren't things that make any sense when thought of as "doing for love", but then neither is the fadeout fodder at the end!

I really hate Freddie's 'scat' but otherwise it's good.

it's something like "will you braek heart?", isn't it? I prefer the rich ambiguity of "'that'".

I am shocked to discover that it was not lying 'Loaf wouldn't do, I have believed this for literally years and years ever since my mother bought me 'Welcome To The Neighbourhood' instead of whatever the hell I'd asked for for my birthday. I'm not wholly clear on how old I was but chances are whatever I'd asked for involved absolutely no Meatloaf, it is a good album though. If I worked in a record shop I might start "accidentally" putting copies of Meatloaf albums in the cases for that new My Chemical Romance one.

I was singing 'Mr Vain' yesterday, much to my boyfriend's horror- I think this is what motivated me to put it instead of 'All That She Wants.' Fortunately I'm staunchly refusing to put iTunes on my computer or else I would by now have purchased most of this list with overdraft I don't have.

I was in Israel on holiday with my family when Mr. Vain came out. I know this because every night, we'd go out for dinner and then walk back through the square in the centre of Netanya (a small town near Tel Aviv), where, in the summer months, they had a big street disco most nights. I kept hearing Mr. Vain, sometimes two or three times a night, and so assumed that the DJ was some bloke called Mr. Vain, who was so vain that he'd play his theme tune several times a night. It was only on returning to England that I realised that the DJ was probably not called Mr. Vain!

Only single track downloads (or single 'bundles') will count - so if you download the whole album by clicking 'buy Album', it goes towards the album chart instead. Only all twelve tracks would chart if people clicked and bought them all individually, which obsessive fans might do to force that situation, but is unlikely to happen as it would cost you lots more money
