Poptimism Needs YOU!

Obviously we need you to turn up tomorrow and have an AMAZING TIME. But we also need you to be GUEST DJs for forthcoming Poptimisms.

We usually have two guest DJs per month. From December until some unknown time (I'm aiming for February or March but gawd knows how realistic this is), we will need THREE per month because I will be a new father, a status initially incompatible with drinking huge quantities of lager and 'spinning' Eurodance remixes of the A Team theme.

So lots of guest DJs needed. We used to have a list of people who wanted to do it but sometime during the interregnum we lost it. The solution Pete has come up with is this - if you want to be a guest DJ at Poptimism put your name in a hat tomorrow and we will draw them out. If your name is drawn you will get a 40-45 minute prime(ish) slot to entertain the Poptimism masses with.

You don't need to be a good DJ or even have your own records, you just have to enjoy the 'vibe' of Poptimism.

(If you really want a guest DJ slot and you can't make it tomorrow, you can get a proxy who is going to put their name in instead I suppose.)

popt is also my night for T to sleep over but she is keen to come if not too exhausted -- if only to resolve her persistent tim/tom confusion -- but if she IS too exhausted my name must creep cautiously out of a HOGBOBBLIN'S HAT

Oh oh! I saw someone who looked a lot like T on the tube this morning, only looked up to see her face (after looking at Miffy bag for most of journey!) as was getting off train, if it was T and I ingored her I am very sorry!
