I chose "mildly diverted" for my feelings on the Internet debate, but in actuality I am both Hostile and Fascinated. A lot of what's written in the debates is astonishingly stupid, stupider than should even be put forward by stupid people. But when reasonably smart people say stupid things, there's always something interesting going on. I think user has had the best things to say (and the best things to say about what other people are saying) over on his Cure for Bedbugs blog (which is one of the best blogs on the Web anyway). We've batted around a bunch of ideas on the comments threads.
1. I have not heard any of the Paris Hilton album (not even "Stars Are Blind") but I fully intend to buy it at some point,
2. I don't find her especially attractive, but she's no minger either.
3. I ticked "Mildly diverted" but that doesn't capture it. I've read a lot of the blog posts and web debates. But they're not 'fascinating'. The rules of engagement for this particular pop war are not something that really interests me. Some of the detailed analysis of songs on the LP has been good though.
I like Paris in the Simple Life, she comes across as being okay. I agree with Jeff re: her attractiveness. Stars Is Blind is quite good. I would get the album if it was about £1.50.
I think she's attractive because she seems such a good person! I haven't read any internet debates or heard any of the album besides Stars Are Blind, which I like a lot.
