I used to listen to the French chart show, Le Top, on Radio Five in the early nineties for no reason whatsoever I can remember. There was a record called 'You' which I think got into the UK Top 40...or did I dream it? I can't think of any proper French pop stars that made it over here after then, but maybe I'm out of the loop...
