Some of you will remember me asking about assorted trendy yng persons mixes last week, making a CD for Rachael from work (a Club FT/Poptimism regular too). Here is what I ended up with:
1. JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE vs BLACK STROBE - Like I Love Me and Mado
2. KYLIE MINOGUE - I Believe In You (Mylo Vocal Mix)
3. MISSY ELLIOT - Lose Control (Jacques Lu Cont edit)
4. FANNYPACK - 718
5. GWEN STEFANI - Hollaback Girl (Diplo Remix)
6. UNKNOWN BOOTLEGGER - One Minute Cat
7. SCISSOR SISTERS - Laura (City Hi-Fi Vocal Mix)
8. ROBYN - Konichiwa Bitches
9. VITALIC vs DIZZEE RASCAL - I Love Poneys
10. FRANZ FERDINAND - Take Me Out (Daft Punk Mix)
11. ALTER EGO vs WHITE STRIPES - 7 Nation Rocker
12. COLDPLAY - Cocks (Royksopp Trembling Heart Remix)
13. THE KILLERS - Mr Brightside (Jacques Lu Cont Mix)
14. ANNIE - Chewing Gum (Mylo Mix)
15. JUSTUS KOHNKE - Hot Love
16. THE KNIFE - Heartbeats (Rex The Dog Mix)
Not packed with surprises to be honest but a pretty good round-up of the pop/rock/dance crossover classix of the last 12 months or so, with an old bootleg favourite or two thrown in.
(No actual mixing has been done obv.)
