There's quite a lot of "it'll do" on the leaderboard.

2006 has been better than that suggests, I feel.

Bizarrely though if I had to do a Tracks of 2006 list it would stretch well over 50, probably to 100 easily. But hardly any of it has been released as a commercial UK single.

There have been some really cracking songs uploaded recently, I have to say.

Yes - my main yardstick revealing that 2006 is totally great is that I can't keep up with all the good stuff and there's always something new to listen to. This is a permanent state of affairs => music is ALWAYS GREBT!

I keep meaning to do this but feel kind of bound to say something ABOUT the songs otherwise it's just list after list - and I generally don't have the mental resources for that.

There are photos on various digital cameras which are never, ever, ever, EVER going on the internet.

oh no - I will tell you what's in these photos offline, they are of me and Robin and Sophie, a few hours after the worst of what's on the lj.

MUCH better.

This suggests to me that June has been a lot better than the rest of the year - the top 5 for June are better than 6 or 7 of the leaderboard... Does anyone else agree/disagree?
