The Phoenix track is quite good, but f I try to limit myself to "new in April/May" iTunes offers no easy answers to this question. My actual top track is unquestionably the Peel Sessions version of "Come Out 2Nite," which is new to me but probably no one else. Similarly Oceans Apart by the Go-Betweens, who I had never paid attention to until McLennan's died.
koganbot, surely not teh Girl Authority?! It's hard to tell whether the small children in the band or the small children that get the CDs bought for them are being worse abused.
I answered the poll by saying Scritti, but that's cos I just heard it for first time and it's awesome. Ellen & Ap or Scott W would be the other contenders for April/May's best.
