Date: 2006-05-11 10:40 am (UTC)to show I'm not a rac1stbecause he's good. I should withdraw my ticky to make it more exciting! It took great mental strain to tick the B&S track, but it sounded nice on the radi-HO.
Sorry for bumpin this down with the PWC 1/2 times by the way!

Date: 2006-05-11 10:44 am (UTC)'Little Derek' is a real grower i think - and the way he does every last word in high voice is cute.
i could've ticked B&S but then he has to ruin it all by rhyming 'throat' with 'poet' or whatever it was.

Date: 2006-05-11 10:57 am (UTC)The one I really can't understand is Editors - it's dreadful, a weird combination of overblown and really unambitious-sounding, plus he can't hold a vocal line at all.
I don't like the Arctic Monkeys one either, because it's stoppy-starty and I never like that.

Date: 2006-05-11 11:01 am (UTC)Some of my rave crew also like the Editors, in fact I met some of them after an Editors gig, they'd acquired poppers which we then proceeded to do in the middle of Wetherspoon's = Editors are dirty and wrong and skanky and I DO NOT UNDERSTAND PEOPLE :(

Date: 2006-05-11 11:03 am (UTC)And I think it suits the song quite well too, which is probably because the Knife are indie themselves.
