This is actually actually the least ticks ever (=6) though I'm willing to believe I could possibly double it if I'd heard more than half of the tracks. Still, worst NOW so far.
I think it's pretty good, cos I'm assuming most of the stuff I don't know is pleasant eurotrance, and it's only that 'phonics/kravitz/divine comedy bit that's actively grisly.
(Yes OK Thank ABBA For etc is perhaps not the tribute they quite deserved)
Oizo = head and shoulders above everything else here. A startling amount of the best dance music of the last three years is totally indebted to that track. As Vahid pointed out elsewhere it is impossible to listen to Smagghe's Fabric mix without imagining the little yellow chap bashing his head along to all the fvck-off big buzzy noises.
i'm surprised by how poorly time has treated poptimists love for fat boy's Praise You, which was ENORM at the time (and i still think is the best thing here)
I honestly always disliked it. I remember reading Reynolds' review of the album before hearing it, and SR was saying "This is an incredible tune, so uplifting, life-changing stuff, fantastic, he's really done it now" etc etc and I heard it and was SO disappointed.

Weird
NONE of the people who picked "Gospel Choir" I have met. (well I don't think I have anyway).
This is clearly the secret yardstick by which I choose my social circle!
