Or, SHINE TOO, because, they were clever, do you see. Gigolo Aunts perhaps the first symptom of the Britpop drivetime tendency? I mean, guys. Like, SRSLY. Although, I think I liked it at the time. Young pups Ash get to mingle with their elders and betters whilst the retro factor is continued with The Div, as no-one ever calls Joy Division, and some old todgers qui s'appelle, Le Happy Mondays. I count 11 (good) songs (I like) personally, tho I didn't bother ticking Joy Div. And Lightning Seeds is rub but I really liked it at the time. Broudie had inexplicable ability to cheer me up, probably because his light, breezy dadpop was the antidote to spending a bit too much time IN THE JUNGLE and was useful bridge back into ordinary everyday world (that could sometimes be okay).
