Ladies and gentlemen, the Quo

Most boggling statistics here - REM and the Manics have had over 35 hit singles EACH! Slowly declining fanbases are the limescale of the charts.

When I was working at MFI head offices for a few weeks, I helped arrange delivery of a new kitchen for Ali Campbell.

That Quo single is really good, for what it's worth.

Yes, but then: Melua, Bon Jovi, Crow, Jamesy P.

I'd sort of assumed, on no particular evidence, that REM are still rock monsters, and their singles are bought and enjoyed by many thousands of people without ever particularly impinging on me (though that one with the forwards-backward video was ace). And given a year or so, I could probably write down at least 30 of the REM singles, in marked contrast to a dozen or so Manics ones.
