Best Song of 2000: Second Chance FINAL!
(EDIT: Had problems with this poll when it first went up, had to delete and start over. Sorry for confusion, please vote again if you already had!)
Okay, so it was pretty close in the second chance poll there dudes! It was tied at the top between Alizee and The Bloodhound Gang, and there ended up being a three-way tie for fourth and fifth between "Bound 4 Da Reload", "Hip Hop" and "Simon Says". Poised between them in third was Darude's "Sandstorm".
Hence, all six of them end up in this little final! But: which is BEST? You have one and only one vote!
[Poll #1427291]
I'll give you until.... oooh, how about Tuesday lunchtime? Happy voting!

Yeah, it's essentially evil. They are all very different flavours of very good thing, too. I wouldn't blame anyone for abstaining.

The dead prez record is pretty awful, to my ears - I'd like to hear why people voted for it? Though nobody did, here, at least.

Why is it good?
Because you nod your head in time with that slow roll of a beat and feel that slow deceptive hum slide through you, almost like feedback in the background but still with subtle shifts in tone.
Because that refrain: bigger than hip.. hop.. hip.. hop.. The delay is just perfect; lazy yet insistent, like a warm summer evening where it's too hot to really /dance/ but you can still /bounce/, still /move/.
Because one thing about music: when it hit you feel no pain.
