Music still makes me want to brush my teeth in the river

(Well, what I was referring to was that Dave had switched his vote from the Alizee to At The Drive-In even though he preferred the Alizee. He was afraid that the Alizee vote would put DMX at risk. So what I was telling him was that he could now dump At The Drive-In and go back to Alizee without putting DMX at risk. But then the extra vote for "Music" and three extra for "Ooh! Stick You" threw that out of whack. Right now "Party Up" and "Music" are tied for fifth. But if you wanted to defeat "Music" you could do so by switching one of your votes to "Party Up," assuming that you like "Party Up.")

I think the telethon had the wrong effect: it's pushed Daphne & Celeste ahead of both Madonna and DMX. Ugh.

Eh, maybe Daphne & Celeste doesn't hold up as well as some of the others (in fact, it definitely doesn't), but it's such a document of its times that it probably deserves to make it through, at least in my opinion. Anyways, I switched my vote back to it, because I dislike strategic voting in general. It will make me sad if Dave's strategic vote keeps Alizee out of the runoff vote.

I'll make sure I'm not responsible for keeping Alizee out of a run-off -- before I was just putting her into a run-off for fifth, but now I'd need to give her vote BACK to put her in the running for fifth (I think at this stage Alizee will at least take a bunch of votes away from Madonna).
