I've got one tick left and it's between "Masterblaster 2000," "Nicole's Groove," and "Never Be The Same Again" (all of which I like more than "Music" or "Never Been To Memphis," which I expect to be popular choices; at least "Music" will be). Any ideas which I should vote for? Also have to listen to the Beck and "Nausea."

In the meantime, my absolute favorite is "Monkeys Out," which is "spindly, sinister dancehall" that samples "...Baby One More Time"!

I also didn't tick "Ooh Stick You," which I may have nominated! There's just other stuff I like more.

i nominated both the beck and the adult. (and seem to be the only one voting for the latter, which is not surprising.)

"mixed bizness" was a pretty massive song for me at the time, and still – in large part due to some really excellent remixes (les rhythmes digitales, cornelius, and some mashup with ac/dc)... it's the last great beck single, pretty much. i guess he comes off a little snide (or something) ten years down the line, but midnite vultures still holds plenty of pure joy for me. n.b. this is from a 1999 album but the single was 2000 and definitely feels like it for me.

"nausea" is probably my favorite electroclash/whatever track... not all that pop maybe, but those synth lines are pretty infectious if you ask me. i love the part where it breaks down into triplets, and also the intro always makes me think of the opening of "heart of glass"

'E-Pro' was a great single! Or maybe I was just sold by the video again...
