There are two NO places left in the pop world cup. Blimey! Thanks for the orgafun enthusiasm!

Cis (B)
Darkpigeon (B)
Dorsalstop (B)
Anatol_Merklich (B)
James B (B)
dubdobdee (H)
skillextric (B)
Those 'easy teams' in full: Germany, Sweden, England, Trinidad & Tobago, Holland, Argentina, Portugal, Italy, USA, Brazil, Australia, Japan, France, Tunisia, Spain, Saudi Arabia
And the 'hard teams': Costa Rica, Poland, Ecuador, Paraguay, Serbia and Montenegro, Ivory Coast, Mexico, Iran, Angola, Ghana, Czech Republic, Croatia, South Korea, Togo, Switzerland, Ukraine
THE DRAW: The historic Draw for the Pop World Cup (i.e. who manages which team) will take place on Tuesday 10th January at 7.30 in The Shaston Arms, Soho, London. Participants and neutrals welcome but it's quite a compartmentalised pub so if lots of people are planning to come there might be a venue change.
The list of managers will go up here on Wednesday 11th and then the Group A match takes place a week after that. (If you know now that there's absolutely no chance of you nominating a song before the 18th let me know that and I'll make sure you don't get a Group A team.)

I would like to be there at the draw. I would claim that as a distinguished (haha yes all right) old person I should be grabbing a ball or two, but as a participant this doesn't hold true.

Mexico, erm well, sorry Mexico.

If you need a non-playing Sepp Blatter type to "oversee" the draw, I can probably make Tuesday.

I am hoping to avoid being drawn as manager of Paraguay or Angola but remain BOTHERD generally. Can't wait for the draw.
