The spirit of Crime Mob lives! Unladylike are Tee and Gunna, a female rap duo from St Louis who have just signed to Def Jam - complete with heartwarming story of how they got their big break - and they are TERRIFIC. This is some random live performance of 'Sit Yo Ass Down' - the song begins at around 1.45, and the moment when Gunna switches to doubletime at 2.40 made my eyes bug out of my head.

Also completely off-topic but I've just heard Jazmine Sullivan's 'Lions Tigers and Bears (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R7kBIGx6a9g)' and OMG it is amazing in a OTT-WTF acronym-tastic way. How is she managing to pull that off with no drum beat behind it at all?

I love that weird old-timey musical feel to it - the best description I've read of it is in some year-end round-up, probably soulbounce.com, and they said it's like the dance between your heart and your mind just before you fall in love. I also love that she never actually sings the words "loving you" in the chorus - she leaves that for the backing singers to pick up. Because she's too scared of it DYS. The official video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=buhdtXAgMNE) is pretty cool, CGI Yellow Brick Road etc etc.

(It was ALL OVER the radio when I was in LA - you could count on hearing it at least twice per hour, it felt like.)
