IA! Quigg-Sothoth!
Hallelujah
It's that the song itself has become a horrible cliche and lost whatever beauty it might once have possessed, so recording what will surely be an EVEN WORSE version will be adding insult to injury.
Re: Hallelujah
i'm not really that familar with the song tho (gasp) so perhaps i can consider myself fortunate now
Re: Hallelujah
For some reason, even though I've been aware how it's become this huge squatting cliche, I've managed to actually avoid hearing it for years. I still like both the Cohen and Buckley versions (the Wainwright I thought was a disappointment at the time), and would like to hear more "interpretations" of it. (Though not by Eoghan Quigg.)

Hi-5...
I have still not read an adequate defence of them, either.

Wow.
Bond b-bond bond bond...
I'm not sure what's worse about the song's first verse: that he emulates Roger Moore only because of the rhyme scheme (if he'd found a rhyme for "Connery" I'd be impressed!) or that the first film he references is THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH. WTF.

Had I made nominations, I probably would have nominated:

(That said, neither the Metallica nor Guns N Roses albums are COMPLETELY horrible. In fact, I kind of *wish* they were even worse; they'd be more fun to talk about that way.)

Katy Perry has a very strange attitude to/relationship with/obsession with homosexuality, but it's not really offensive, and there are many many more things to dislike her for.
