Christmas Wrapping
This just came on the radio - I've never liked it much, though this time it sounded good - but it struck me that it's structure (verse-instrumental chorus-verse) is kind of unusual for a pop hit though it works fine. What other big hits* can you think of where the 'chorus' is wordless?

a&p becomes tesco
the all night grocery becomes the all night garage
whoever sings the "cranberry" line (my guess = victoria), completely @rses it up, due to vaguely attempting not to say CRAN-berry

And it does have a chorus, the "Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas" bit - only it is CUNNINGLY DISGUISED and has different lyrics the two times that it's sung (ergo "not a chorus" you might say but you'd be WRONG innit)

Please share the link, all of you, wide and far as the film only has one more week before it's out season and I'll be expected to retire it.
