Saturday Eurobosh

Remember some 5 years ago when Kate Ryan was doing awesome things to French europop classics? Well, she's at it again! And with one of my all-time favourite bits of 80s europop!

Hurrah!

(Not as good as her Libertine, mind, but then her Libertine is possibly the best eurobosh cover in the history of the world, so that would prob have been asking much!)

this (the K ryan VoyageVoyage) is on Clubland 12 - which did me proud at recent poptimism as it's where i got both the Ultrabeat mix of "About You Now" and the bosh cover of Chasing Cars

Mexican boy bands do it better. (But Kate Ryan's version is good, mind you. Who is she?)

Belgian dance pop singer. Responsible for the second greatest song in the history of Eurovision ("Je t'adore" from 2006, scandalously did not make the finals, let alone WIN when it is BRILLIANT) and the aforementioned covers. Her cover of "Desenchantee" still stuns me to this day, how she takes the heaving, enormous original and makes it so sleek and economical.
