Waiting around for an alBUM like you

I am in my yearly "jesus i'd better catch up on some albums then" conscience fit. It is like the fable of the grasshopper and the ant, the ant works hard listening to albums all year and has a proper year end list that they've thought about and all, whereas the poptimist grasshopper swans about listening to McFly and has no resources when winter comes in.

But now grasshoppers have the interweb so in yr face ant.

I have albums by Enrique, Infernal, Radiohead, Siobhan Donaghy, Field, Fall Out Boy, Roisin Murphy and Studio to listen to. I NEED MOAR. What albums have you heard so far this year that you would urge me to listen to?

(I know I talked to some of you about this yesterday.)

yay, ultra-Jens! I dagree that he doesn't sound like the Magnetic Fields at all. I really DO NOT LIKE the Magnetic Fields but I think Jens is ace. Possibly because my first experience of him was seeing him live and he was all excellent and funny and self effacing, but still. He's like the Divine Comedy but realer, i.e better. And Scandinavian! And everything Scandinavian is good, after all.
