Anticipation!

Is anyone else excited by the Son of Dork album coming out next week? I think the single is awesome, and all the reviews which say either a) it totally sounds like Busted or b) they're ripping off Blink 182, make me want to hear it more... Am I wierd?

i am interested. i heard one song performed a while back - it DID sound busted/blink but there was a bit of "fun" missing that made me glum. we'll see.

No! I dunno about excited, but I got the Busted live album in the £ shop the other day and it sounded great! Bring on the soundalikes.

(I actually quite approve of soundalikes in pop, as a rule: provided, as in this instance, that I like the "sound" obv. Do people disagree on this point? I dont know..)

soundalikes are good.

treat separate albums by the same artists as if they are actually by soundalikes and NOT the same artist. cos in a way they aren't the same are they? see? like this river here that i shall step into

soundalike is a great word. If I could be the chap who coined it, I'd be a happy boy.

all the "fun" is provided by the other guitarist's "wacky" haircut...

get out more, laughing at haircuts is OVAH. (Until, "I Love The Noughties rolls around...

Speaking of which: spotted on a bus stop, an advert for NEW MANGAHEAD STYLING GEL. ??? Show me plz A) What a Mangahead is and B) Who over the age of 16 wears styling gel anymore.

Cis knows about mangaheads!

The problem w/applying the term manga to hair care in my view is that it's a bit too close to mange.

Bit of mange just adds a weather beaten character to one's barnet, obv.
