Mischa Barton will star in Roland Joffe's Russian coming-of-age drama "Finding t.A.T.u," which starts shooting in Moscow later this month.

The movie is adapted from the novel "t.A.T.u come back" by Russian writer A. Mitrofanov.

Set against a background of music, Internet chatrooms and hedonistic Russian nightlife, it's the story of a lonely American teenager in Moscow who becomes friends with a local girl over their shared obsession with pop band t.A.T.u.

I can't wait, even though I hate Mischa. Anything t.A.T.u is great, and I'm impressed they got a big name star for it... it actually makes me wonder if it's really true or another publicity stunt?

No, I think it's really true. Yulia, Lena, and Mischa were on TV just the other night talking about it. It was quite amusing to see Mischa sitting at the table looking even blanker than usual (she didn't have a translator) and not being the center of attention, either (Yulia is looking absolutely gorgeous lately - must be motherhood).

This will surely be the worst thing since the McFly movie. Brilliant!

Lena needs to let her hair down in a literal sense and wear a more flattering jumper (also some eyeliner) as she is clearly the fitter one.

watched 'all about lily chou-chou' last week and ws wondering whether it ws one of the first movies for the poptmist-era (=> has to have chat-room stuff in that, and it does).
