I thought Kula Shaker were the best thing since sliced cats for about, oh, 40 seconds. Tattva was the best, but I now find it execrable.

It says something quite bad about me that the stuff I seem to like most now is the full-on no-nonsense 60S ROCK REVIVALISM rather than any of the actual indie. If only Placebo had sounded more like the Allman Brothers Band eh?

...which automatically raises them head and shoulders above anything else on this! I do remember that 'Hedonism' had a mildly fetching MOR type tune though.

(other two = 'Your Woman' obv and 'Wide Open Space'. nearly 'Beetlebum' but not quite.)
