Debbie Gibson

Does anyone know why Debbie Gibson released two (UK) singles in the August of 1989? You must agree that it's very odd behaviour. Was she on tour supporting MJ or something?

"We could be together" is the only one that charted, #22. What was the other one?

You don't think it's just a mistake? The dates for "Lost in Your Eyes" (Jan 89) and "WCBT" (Aug 89) line up with US releases more or less. You'd think that "Electric Youth" would've come out in April in the UK, just like the US.

Maybe it was just the foolish beat of her heart?

Polyhex Chartruns - http://www.polyhex.com/music/chartruns/chartruns.php
is usually good for this sort of thing. It says nay.

My god, did I love the "Electric Youth" elpee in my non-electric youth. The single cover to "We Could Be Together" has her with a TAMBOURINE on it, if I remember correctly. And "Over The Wall" was and still is amazing.
