DIAMONDS AND RUST - JOAN BAEZ THE DIAMOND SEA - SONIC YOUTH DIAMONDS FROM SIERRA LEONE - KANYE WEST DIAMONDS IN THE DARK - MYSTERY JETS DIAMONDS IN THE RAW - THE SOS BAND DIAMONDS IN THE ROUGH - WILLIE NELSON DIAMONDS ON THE SOLES OF HER SHOES - PAUL SIMON DIAMOND SUN - GLASS TIGER
I look forward to hearing about any cheesy work compilation with Sonic Youth's "The Diamond Sea" on it. IIRC, it's about 14 minutes long with a lot of feedback...
Big Blue Diamonds - Little Willie John Black Diamond Bay - Bob Dylan Diamond Head - Beach Boys The Diamond Sky - Chemical Brothers Diamonds on My Windshield, or Diamonds and Gold - Tom Waits Diamonds and Dust - Stormtroopers of Death Diamonds and Pearls - Wailing Souls Diamonds at Your Feet - Muddy Waters Diamonds, Fur Coat, Champagne - Fatima Mansions Field of Diamonds - Johnny Cash
and how has no one mentioned Lucy In The Sky With?
Tori Amos- Liquid Diamonds Transplants- Diamonds and Guns (your work colleagues will know this as "the song from that shampoo advert") ELO- Four Little Diamonds
And "Jack of Diamonds" by obscure Canadian alt.country act the Corb Lund Band. Probably leave that one off, tbh.
Transplants- Diamonds and Guns (your work colleagues will know this as "the song from that shampoo advert")
I liked it before it was in the advert. It was never going to work long term though... how can you take a great band like Rancid and add that twat from Blink 182 and expect anything other than fleeting success?!!
Very schmindie, and not really about diamonds, but nevertheless good: He'd Be A Diamond. Originally by The Bevis Frond (aaagh! hippy alert), also in versions by Teenage Fanclub and Mary Lou Lord and probably more (it's that kind of song...)
Everything by Amy Diamond could count, but especially 'Diamonds' obviously. Also 'Apples and Diamonds' by Bertine Zetlitz and 'Elastic Diamonds' by Surferosa.

I second 'Liquid Diamonds' by Tori Amos, it is awesome.
Kelis's 'Bossy' has that "diamonds on my neck, di-diamonds on my grill" hook which Beyonce interpolates in 'Kitty Kat'.

I loved it at the time but haven't heard it for years - I suspect it may have aged badly though.
