The penultimate Now poll finds us on very familiar ground - almost all these songs have been Poptimist-polled before by the diligent Steve M. To be frank I doubt you'll find much work for your ticking fingers here but we need to go through this one to 'complete the set' to let's be at it.

Sugababes won the Now 62 poll by a reasonable margin, despite being very few people's overall favourite. They're in it again this time.

Talk is the best Coldplay single. I ticked it.

We're into the period where I have been reviewing singles for Stylus, so I'm surprised at how many I still don't know.

This is a really good single? The video is totally startling, her beau gets killed halfway through it (!!!) and she sings the rest in this incredible giant purple funeral dress, thousands and thousands of petals falling from the sky, her face this transfixed, pained, ecstatic expression?

Traditionally this is between two very good songs. Not this time! It is between one very dull song from an otherwise ace popstar, and a dreadful song from dreadful popstars. WVS.

I love how the Sugababes' idea of a self-empowerment anthem is one based around calling other people names.

It's lovely nonetheless, 'Unpretty' rewritten for...other people.

Who's heard London Bridge, then? It's like Hollaback Girl but BETTER.

I liked it! From its very first airing on X Factor no less. It's a really well put together song written by the same people who write for ROOSTER, oh yes...

No love for "No Worries" which transcends its vile elements to be something quite wonderful.
