POPFITES 7 and 8!

The vagaries of a random draw can sometimes throw up early matches that might well have turned up later in the tournament. Our first one today is definitely one of these - one of pop's great icons vs one of pop's great (nay only) 'chameleons'. And our second fight? Somewhat of an undercard...

David Bowie has NO GOOD SONGS AT ALL therefore Debs wins be default.

A Bowie canon would give me a good chance to rant though. He brings out the Lex in me, mostly because he has THE WORST VOICE IN POP.

heart of glass aside, blondie are far more boys-with-guitars indie jangle than a good half of la bowie's output -- james brown even ripped off a bowie riff!
