GASP, I have likewise come to PREFER this to the original version. I would suggest that this has to be her last-roll-of-dice next single, though an AA with "Every Little Thing" appeals a lot.

My initial reaction, as is usual, is that it can't possibly be legal to make music this good, we live in a new golden age etc etc.

After a few listens:

Every Little Thing starts out a bit by-numbers, but Jesvs, that chorus. chocolate wrapped with in silk covered in chocolate. Also kazoo solo = +100 points.

I Will Be There, best song St. Etienne never wrote etc.

Nothing Good About This Goodbye starts off sounding like Like A Motorway, actually, for all of two seconds before slowing down. Also contains an appropriate use of guitars. Also is fantastic.

Je M'Appelle is my least favourite, it reminds me a bit of Gwen Stefani, which is not a selling point for me. Or U2 writing a young person's song.
